From high in the mountains of Shan Lin Xi comes a special batch of the Dong Pian, or second winter harvest oolong. Expertly crafted with a slight oxidation and just a bit of roast that comes through on the later infusions, this tea is exceptional.
Harvested in Dong Zhi, the 22nd of the 24 solar terms spanning from 12/21 to 1/5.
Smooth, and hearty with enough unami to be considered meaty. It makes me wonder... how could a tea have so much flavor. Creamy, chard, leaving a super cool mouth feel.
