White Tea

White Tea: The Least Oxidized Tea

White tea is known for being the least oxidized and most minimally processed of all teas. Young leaves are carefully picked and dried, with no fixing step involved, allowing the leaves to cure naturally. This gentle process helps retain the tea’s delicate flavor and nutrients.

The two main categories of white tea are White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) and Silver Needle. White Peony includes the second and third leaf, along with the Silver Needle bud, resulting in a slightly more robust flavor compared to the more delicate Silver Needle.

At the moment, we offer an aged White Peony, which has developed a richer flavor over time. In general, aging white tea produces positive effects, enhancing its overall taste and complexity.
