This "Year of the Chicken" commemorative teapot was created by Taiwan potter Huang Zheng Dao aka Andy Huang. Andy was a business man that underwent a major life transformation, devoting himself to teaware pottery. I met Andy while living in Taiwan and we developed a friendship over the years. This teapot represents some of Andy's creativity and artisan craftsmanship. The pot was created in Andy's studio in Ding Shan, just outside of Yi Xing, China. The pot holds 350ml.  

Movable eyes, and inscription on back 台灣奇蹟 is a play on words that means "Taiwan's economic miracle", but sounds like "Taiwan's strange chicken".
