Black Tea
Black tea is fully oxidized, which gives it that rich color and bold flavor — though the brew itself is actually deep red, not black. Contrary to what most people think, caffeine levels in black tea vary widely and don't automatically outpace green or white tea.
Taiwan produces some of the world's most underrated black teas — smooth, full-bodied, and nothing like the astringent stuff in a grocery store teabag. We source ours directly from farms we've visited, and a few we've been working with for over a decade. Good on its own, great with milk.
