These pearls are made from green tea that is harvested in Fuijian, China in the early spring and then combined with night-blooming jasmine blossoms.
I get this tea every Christmas for my grandmother, who absolutely loves it. And I do too, it has an amazing fragrance and taste that isn’t overbearing like a lot of jasmine greens. It’s beautiful to brew too and watch unravel in the hot water.
I love these Jasmine Pearls because they are organic. The aroma is nice, but not as powerful as some Jasmine Pearls I used to get in Nashville (though they weren't organic). I wish these had a little more of the "grape" notes that I used to get from that. That said, I have tried a lot of Jasmine tea and never gotten the same fragrance, and this is one of the better versions I have had. I find I do have to use more than 1 tsp and I steep it for longer than suggested (I like strong tea).
