The first thing you'll notice is the leaf itself — extraordinarily big, even by high mountain standards. The cultivar is Golden Lily, better known as Milk Oolong, and this one lives up to the name.

The nose opens with sweet florals and candied apple. On the tongue: steamed greens and gentle florals, with low acidity, low tannins, a creamy texture, and a medium finish. Creamy, floral, buttery — everything you want in a Golden Lily, though we find this one leans more milky than buttery.
